Did you know that the federal government is the world's largest buyer of goods and services? It's a lucrative market – and small businesses play a big part. Learn how to get started or compete more successfully in the government contracting marketplace with these resources.

Free Online Training – SBA’s Government Contracting Classroom offers a series of free courses to help you each step of the way. There are even specialized courses for women- and veteran-owned businesses. SBA's Learning Center offers additional courses, chat sessions and videos to help you learn more about government contracting.

SBA Contracting Programs – SBA offers a range of programs designed to help small businesses sell to the government. These programs include small business assistance, as well as support for groups such as women- and veteran- owned businesses, disadvantaged businesses and those located ineconomically distressed areas.

Specialized Local Resources – Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) provide local, in-person counseling and training services for small business owners who want to sell products and services to federal, state and/or local governments.
